Recently, I watched an unusual movie - Sunshine which is about the Sun losing its power and a team of people travel to the sun to drop and explode a large nuclear device in the sun to get it reignited. The crew also end up having to fight for their lives and get their mission accomplished. I didn't see the whole thing so I am interested in it.

There is another movie which is a classic is the Longest Yard with Burt Reynolds. The last movie I like to get and see is Donnie Darko. I looked at the storyline for it and it seems interesting plus the movie has a classic song from "The Church" called "Under the Mily Way".

Currently I am watching Ex-Driver, kind of a neat Anime from 2001. With me being a gear head, the cars and bikes are pretty cool and the detail in the Anime is pretty good. I am watching the Anime on my older Apple Mac G4 and on my Mac Pro desktop, I am loading an old operating system on VMWare Fusion. It is known as BeOS which I got back in the year 2000. Mac OS X is somewhat has some ideas from the operating system.

On Ex-Driver, see some pretty neat cars like Subaru WRX's, Lotus' and a Super 7. Be kind of nice to beef up a Super 7 and take it Moab, UT to take it out in the sticks.

An Introduction

Many people I know mention that I have very unusual ideas and eclectic taste on things. Some of those items are computers especially with the Apple Mac genre, Japanese Anime and Culture (日本のアニメと文化) and traveling to strange places.

The key is I hope those who stop by will enjoy their visit.

Now on Anime, I have been into it since 2002 when I was finishing up as a grad student, I saw a posting for a group of people that liked to watch Anime so I decided to drop in and check it out. What we watched that evening was Trigun. It was strange and unusual but cool. Since my youth, I have seen other Anime such as the Battle of the Planets, Thundercats. One thing that stood out was the Sci-Fi themes and better detail versus American cartoons like Yogi bear for example. Back in Anime, I have been involved with the Anime Club since 2002 and gone to Anime Conventions in Denver - NDK (ナンデスカん) that has been held in September of each year since 2003.
